September Readings in Call for a Collective Action

Have you read the three position papers from AMTE, NCSM/TODOS, and NCTM? The targeted question for the September reading is: What are some common understandings amongst the three position papers? Go to the TODOS members' Social Circle (discussion forum) on the TODOS website and participate in the discussion forum that has been established for this month's readings. Share and discuss some of your ideas with friends and colleagues!

Call for A Collective Action!

TODOS President Diane Kinch sent a letter to TODOS members earlier this month on a Call for a Collective Action to Develop Awareness: Equity and Social Justice in Mathematics Education. The website and the president's letter provide details of the Call for a Collective Action, including the mathematics education organizations participating, and the monthly readings. In addition, TODOS has established a Social Circle (discussion forum) for each month's reading or collection of readings.

October Readings in Call for a Collective Action

The reading for October 2016 is TEEM 7, the Special Issue, Mathematics Education Through the Lens of Social Justice. The targeted questions for this reading are included in the attached. The Social Circle for this reading will be added on the website in October. Even if you don't read every article in TEEM 7, you can always include your comments in the Social Circle on the articles that you did read. Participate in the Call for a Collective Action!
